These "About Me's" are surprisingly difficult - - to think of what exactly I should say in 4-5 paragraphs that will encapsulate the essence of who I am & properly relay it to you is not nearly as easy as it should be.  I was born & raised in Lake County, IL and a few years back moved just north of the IL/WI border into Wisconsin.  I'm a single parent to (in my opinion) THE most amazing 17 year old "almost adult" in the world.  

 

I got my start with photography very young when i started taking beginner's photography classes in Junior High (a LOT has changed in 30 years!)  Just out of high school, I was a portrait photographer for a national chain for several years before I decided to take a break from the business and began working in corporate America (obtaining graphic design experience.)

 

The years I've been in the Corporate world have been about as interesting (creatively) as this sentence sounds.  I just wasn't made to sit in a cube all day, when my mind is constantly taking snapshots.

So here I am, 20 years later - right back at my photographic roots! I've managed to combine my love of photography with that of music by shooting mostly concert photography this year including such amazing acts as Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Sebastian Bach, Five Finger Death Punch and Bret Michaels to name a few.

 

In addition to nature photography, I also enjoy shooting classic cars, Harleys, street photography and have recently decided to begin shooting portraits again!  I can't wait to work with you whether your needs are photographic or graphic design in nature -  you name it, I can do it.  Give me a call, let's talk!
